The Over-tyrant (also spelled as Overtyrant) is the title given to the lord of all of House Goliath's members.[1a]
This overlord holds dominion over the clan via the flow of life-giving stimms – chem cocktails essential to the continued existence of all Goliaths. The Clan House's reverence of strength, however, grants the Overtyrant this right, as long as they are strong enough to rule and can fend off any challengers to their title.[1b]
