Palaemon (Minotaurs)
Palaemon was a Contemptor Pattern Dreadnought Hecaton of the Minotaurs and was considered to be a hero to his Chapter.[1]
Biography
Before his internment, Palaemon fought in the Macharian Heresy, where he was poisoned on the Ocean World Nereus while pursuing the extermination of the xenos-possessed Fourth Company of the Imperial Paladins Chapter. Despite the xenos poisons ravaging his body, Palaemon went on to fight for three whole days before finally succumbing to their effects. This mighty deed served as an example to his Battle Brothers and earned his place amongst the Minotaurs' revered Dreadnoughts.[1]
After his internment, Palaemon was part of the cadre of Dreadnoughts permanently stationed on the Daedelos Krata. He took part in the Orphean War and was launched via a boarding torpedo at the Necron Tomb Ship Dead Hand, during the Amarah Void Battle.[2] Palaemon's final fate remains unknown, but he was presumed to have fallen in glory.[1]
Palaemon was equipped with a Power Claw and Multi-Melta at the time of his disappearance and presumed death.[1]
