Phase Shifter

The Phase Shifter is part a Necron device that can be used by Necron Lords and Necron Overlords [1][2] as well as Crypteks.[3]
Once used, the Phase Shifter becomes part of the Necron Lord and to the enemies of the Necrons, it seems as if the entire fabric of the Lord is fuzzy and shifted. Even the strongest weapons will pass through the Lord as he is now incorporeal, while he strikes back with his usual force. This effect is similar to that of the Wraith, except to a much greater extent, due to this effect being a passive ability.[1]
Conflicting Sources
Codex: Necrons (5th Edition) suggests that the usage of this device is brief and uninterrupted, and that the effects of the Phase Shifter can not be negated or taken away by any means.[2]
