The Shield of Baal was a Strike Cruiser in service with the Flesh Tearers Chapter shortly after their creation during the Second Founding.^[1]

Commanded by Captain Eligus, the Shield of Baal was damaged in an engagement with heretic vessels in the Zurcon System, but survived.^[1]
