Solarite Weapon
Solarite Weapons were potent Power Gauntlets, Power Talons, and Power Lances that were wielded by the Adeptus Custodes during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.[1]
Description
They were crafted for the elite of the Thunder Warriors[1] and were made in imitation of the ancient relics of Terra[2]. The Solarite Power Gauntlets and Power Talons were composed of near-irreplaceable artefact power coils, which energized their Disruption Field generators. They also had nigh-indestructible casings and blades, which were forged in furnaces recovered from the ancient Tempest Galleries, near Terra's molten core. While the Solarite Power Talons and Power Lances were only used by the Adeptus Custodes[1], the Imperial Fists had their own versions of the Solarite Power Gauntlet. Their casings for the Gauntlets were fashioned in weapon forges fed from the fires of the Phalanx's vast plasma core[2] and millennia later, the Imperial Fists Chapter is reputed to still possess a few of the weapons.[3]
