Weeping Plague

Weeping Plague (also known as the Sorrow) struck the warriors of the march to Terra of Primarch Guilliman right after his rebirth at the end of M41.[1]
The diseased constantly shed viscous, stinking tears and were blinded by its endless streams, which sealed their eyes open and soon made them red and damp. Overcome with grief and sorrow, the sufferers wailed and wept all days long. In the worst cases, the so-called Weepers became permanently blind as their infected eyeballs rotted and festered from their skulls.[1]
