The vessel was under the command of Captain Scaevolla, serving as the base of operations for him and his warband whenever he embarked on his hunts.[1]

In Honour Among Fiends, the Talon of the Ezzelite was capable of landing and taking off from the surface of a planet, something rather unusual for a Warp-capable human starship in the setting.
