Thirstwater
Thirstwater is a liquid-like organism native to Baal and its moons.[1]
Suspected to be a vicious weapon from the Dark Age of Technology, the organism resembled water and possessed a rudimentary intelligence. Lying in wait for the thirsty to drink from it, its moisture offered no nourishment but instead desiccated whatever it came into contact with.[1]
During the Devastation of Baal, the Blood Angels and their Successors constructed a moat of Thirstwater to keep the Tyranids at bay.[1]
