Thorosgar Bear-fist
Thorosgar Bear-fist is a Black Legion Chaos Lord, who is taking part in the War of Beasts on Vigilus.[1]
History
During the conflict, the forces of Bear-fest and the Master of Possession Zhune Tzang attacked the Mortwald Hive-sprawl[1]. The Chaos Lord's forces landed miles behind Mortwald's Deinos Trench Network, which had been defended by the Ventrillian Nobles 118th ‘Opal Raptors’ Regiment and a contingent of the Imperial Fists. However as the Black Legion were landing, they found themselves amidst the remnants of the Opal Raptors, who had fled the Trench Network after being bombarded by the Iron Warriors' artillery. The surprise encounter led the Chaos Space Marines and Guardsmen to attack each other and Bear-fist found himself fighting the Ventrillian M. K. Jones. From the accounts of other Guardsmen who survived the battle, Jones nearly overwhelmed the Chaos Lord with repeated strikes from his bayonet. The blade would break though, after Jones stabbed the gorget of Bear-fist's Terminator Armour and he retaliated by striking the Guardsman down. By the time additional Imperial forces arrived to aid the Opal Raptors against the Black Legion, Jones lay dead amidst the battlefield. However it said that his bayonet still remains lodged within Bear-fist's gorget.[2]
