Novamagnor is an Imperial world, in the Vespator Front of the Realm of Ultramar.[1]

History
In the distant past, Novamagnor was a Necron Tomb World of the Sautekh Dynasty known as Uzshemek. Its Necron population was still slumbering by the Age of the Dark Imperium.[2a]
During the Ultramarian Reclamation, Novamagnor already had a strong Imperial presence under Governor Adrica Gallow. Upon the arrival of the forces of the Vespator Front, the world quickly negotiated its assimilation into Greater Ultramar. However, shortly after it was invaded by emerging Necron forces led by Nekrosor Ammentar, who was seeking a shard of the Nightbringer.[2b]
During the subsequent war for Novamagnor, most of the planet fell to the Destroyer Cult and Flayed One Necrons, in part thanks to the treachery of the xenophilic Archmagos Wytbor Oct. Ammentar was successful in overrunning Firstbrand as well as acquiring the C'tan shard, though thanks to Captain Demetrian Titus of the Ultramarines the Imperials continue to hold parts of the world.[2c]
