Otto von Horne
Otto von Horne is a Mordian Iron Guard General, who initially commanded the Astra Militarum's forces in the war to end the Uprising on Malouri, in M42.[1b]

However, while most of the world was taken back from the rebel forces, their commander, Arch-Duke Holzhauer, ordered them to retreat. The rebels then made their escape to the island fortress of Crannog Mons and blew the bridges connecting the island to Malouri's mainland. This prevented General von Horne's forces from directly attacking the fortress and instead a protracted siege commenced. However when the siege entered its 4th year, Lord Militant Warmund seemingly grew tired of von Horne's slow pace. In order to finally defeat Holzhauer's forces, the Lord Militant tasked the Cadian 101st Regiment with storming the island fortress[1a]. This meant Horne was replaced by the 101st's General, Isaia Bendikt, though he showed the Cadian no ill feelings when they later met. Instead, Horne greeted Bendikt and said his Mordians would be honoured to fight beside the Cadians. In return, Bendikt thanked Horne and said that he had made note of the General's impressive accomplishments to the Cadian High Command. Bendikt claimed that by working together, the Mordians and Cadians would be able to end the Uprising.[1b]
