They are ruled over by the gestalt Daemon known as the Eater of Lives, who favours Sorcerers and summations in defiance of the Daemon Primarch Mortarion's will. The Wretched are also known to carry the Eater Plague, also called Drizzleflesh, Pockchewer and the Endless Gift.^[1]
