The Wulfen Heavy Tank is a heavy tank deployed by the Space Wolves on rare occasions.^[1]

Description

The Wulfen Heavy Tank is constructed on the chassis of six Rhinos, incorporating the engines of each to overcome possible power supply problems. It features a dozer blade, extra armour and armaments, notably the famous Wolfspit cannon which fires Jotun charges. These charges are programmed to penetrate straight through the walls of a targeted structure and burrow deep into its foundations. Thereafter, the Jotun charges explode with the power of a small earthquake, destroying everything in the near vicinity.^[1]

History

The Jotun Heavy Tank was developed at the siege of Saba during a campaign on Uralan. Fighting against determined Chaos Space Marines and surrounded by a pile of toxic rubble, the Space Wolves were constantly losing Rhinos to the enemy. Taking advantage of the situation, these wrecks were used to form the basis for the tank.^[1]
