Zerberyn was a member of the Fists Exemplar during the War of the Beast. Acting as First Captain of the Chapter aboard the Battle Barge Dantalion, during the war he was forced to align himself with Warsmith Kalkator in order to fend off a massive Ork fleet. Upon meeting up with Tempestus Scions who attempted to fire on his reluctant Iron Warriors allies, Zerberyn was forced to kill his Human allies, seemingly condemning himself further to damnation.[1]
He was later seen in the Immitis System fighting Ork forces alongside the Iron Warriors. After his confidant Mandek died, Zerberyn began to lose his last remaining doubts over the heresy of their actions.[2]
Zerberyn next appeared alongside his Iron Warriors allies in an attempt to acquire an Astropathic station. After the Inquisition discovered they were working alongside Chaos Space Marines, a battle broke out.[3]
