A Blank or Null is the bearer of a rare form of mutation. Unlike the Emperor on Terra, or an Eldar Farseer, who shine like a blazing fire in the Warp, the Blank appears as a non-entity or a null space. This 'lack' has been supposed to mean that the Blank has no soul, so to speak. The effect of this state is that the blank negate warp & psychic powers within an area around them. This happens without the Blank having to think about it, like a heart beating on its own accord. Any psychic power used upon them will fail to effect the Blank and it is unknown whether a Daemon can physically hurt a Blank while in corporeal form.
