The Invidious was a Promethean Class Cruiser in the Dark Angels' fleet, which took part in the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.[1b]
History
In 006.M31 it was on patrol near Advex-Mors, during the last years of the Great Crusade, when the Invidious was contacted by the world's garrison commander Knight-Praetor Kordray Mordred. The Sons of Horus had launched a surprise attack on the garrison[1b], to claim the Rangdan Xenocides arsenal they defended[1a] and Mordred asked for the cruiser's aid. It was due to the cruiser's arrival that the Sons of Horus were forced to retreat and, thanks to the efforts of Mordred and his forces, the Traitors were not able to steal all of the garrison's arsenal.[1b]
