Kordray Mordred
Kordray Mordred was a Dark Angels Knight-Praetor of the Legion's 51 Chapter, who took part in the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy.[1b]
History
During the last years of the Great Crusade, Mordred commanded the Legion' garrison on Advex-Mors. In 006.M31 this became the earliest known engagement of the Dark Angels in the Horus Heresy, when the Sons of Horus Heavy Cruiser Conqueror's Pride launched a surprise attack upon it. The Traitors sought to claim[1b] the Rangdan Xenocides arsenal that the garrison was defending[1a], but the Knight-Praetor and his forces fought fiercely to defend themselves. As they clashed, Mordred called the Promethean Class Cruiser Invidious back from patrol and it races back to Advex-Mors. It was due to the Cruiser's arrival, that the Sons of Horus were forced to retreat and thanks to the efforts of the Knight-Praetor and his forces, they were not able to steal all of the garrison's arsenal.[1b]
