Modar is an Imperial[1a] and Chaos[1b] detection and tracking technology,[1a] used to detect and track enemy[1b][1c] and friendly aircraft.[1d]
Description
Modar can have a range of two hundred kilometres and can scan for heat-sources to locate enemy planes.[1c]
Modar equipment can be array-mounted in combination with vox-masts and auspex towers, making the air smell of ozone and electromagnetics.[1a] The Land Carrier is equipped with Modar.[1b] Modar can also be mounted on aircrafts like the Maruader.[2]
Modar returns can be projected onto a holo-projector by semi-opaque glass screens.[1a]
