The Eye of Vigilance[1]
The Eye of Vigilance was a battle honour bestowed by Warmaster Horus to the Iron Hands during the Great Crusade.[1]
With the Iron Hands Legion having fought closely alongside the Sons of Horus for many years, Horus came to value the fighting prowess of the Xth Legion and would bestow this laurel upon those he deemed exemplary.[1]
Even after the Drop Site Massacre, some Iron Hands fighting on the side of the Traitors were still seen wearing the Eye of Vigilance upon their armour. It is unclear whether these were true Iron Hands who had turned to Horus' side or traitors simply wearing their armour.[1]
