The Punishers are a Chaos Space Marine warband[1] with a long history of battling the Dark Hunters.[3]
History
- 825.M41 - The Punishers nearly overrun Phobian, the Dark Hunters homeworld, in the First Punisher War. They are only defeated thanks to the Dark Hunters reinforcements coming from the Brazen Fists, Dark Sons, Doomsayers, Shadowhawks, and others.[3]
- 939.M41 - Half the warband is destroyed by the Dark Hunters in the Battle of the Black Star.[2]
- 982.M41 - The Punishers battle the Dark Hunters once more, this time on the world of Ras Hanem. They are defeated after the Dark Hunters form an alliance with the Eldar from the Craftworld of Il-Kaithe.[3]
- M42 - During the Charadon Campaign, the Punishers and the Unhallowed deployed jump troops to sabotage the essential wind farms of Ohmex Magnifica.[4]
