The Dark Sons are a Codex Chapter of Space Marines founded from the Novamarines.[1]
Overview
The Dark Sons have the honour of having been tutored by the Novamarines themselves. A certain level of pridefulness and egotism clings to these warriors and has soured their dealings with other Imperial organisations. However, this confidence is not unfounded, as the Dark Sons fight with remarkable efficiency and skill.[6]
Known Engagements
- ???.M41: The Dark Sons assisted the Brazen Fists, Dark Hunters and four unknown chapters in driving the Punishers from the Phobian System.[5]

Heraldry
The Dark Sons wear quartered green-and-white power armour with a gold imperialis.[4][6] Company affiliation is denoted by the colour of the Marine's right kneepad. Squad number and battlefield role is displayed via a green Roman numeral upon a gold role icon on a marine's right shoulder pad.[6]
Their Chapter badge is a stylised green starburst on a white background.[4][6]

- Taurinus Demos - Captain of the 2nd Company. He won a duel with Storm Wardens Captain Lorgath Maclir for the privilege of leading forces into the Jericho Reach but despite this realized his opponent understood the burden of command and deferred himself to the Storm Warden.[3]
