Culture
The most important component of Attillan culture is the horse. The horses of Attilla are malicious, compact and resistant animals, from which their riders may, in emergency situations, draw off small quantities blood to enable their riders to operate the behind hostile lines for long periods.
Each clansman carries proudly long scars on his cheeks, which he gets from his comming of age ritual. Into these scars ash is often rubbed, in order to let it appear more impressive. Normally Attilans wear their hair long and open.
Attillans do not believe in washing, refusing to bathe or clean their clothes. They believe that it is an insult to the spirits of Water. This superstition could not be defeated even by the priests of the Adeptus Ministorum. This peculiar trait has lead to the Attillans being the but butt of many jokes by their fellow guardsmen.
