Aspect of Khaine
The Eldar Aspect Warriors are warriors that have progressed down the Path of the Warrior. Each aspect represents a fighting style embodied in the Eldar god of war, Kaela Mensha Khaine.
Striking Scorpion Aspect
The Striking Scorpions are close combat aspect. They epitomise a silent death, preferring to stealthily approach the enemy. They are physically stronger than other aspects.1 Their weapons and armour allow them to work very well against large numbers of weaker opponents. They are also effective against stronger opponents, but their Eldar fragility works against them here.
Aspect Wargear
The Sriking Scorpion aspect warriors are armed with:
- A Scorpion Chainsword, which adds to the striking strength of the Aspect.3
- A Shuriken Pistol.
- Mandiblasters.
- Armour. They have better armour than most other aspects. The segmented nature of their armour resembles that of their namesake.
Exarch
An Exarch is the leader of an Aspect Shrine. He (or she) is one that has traveled so far down the Path of the Warrior, that he can no longer turn from that path to follow another path. This gives them great skill and dedication.
Exarch Wargear
In addition to the wargear of the aspect, the Exarch can be armed with a number of special weapons:
- The Biting Blade, which adds strength to the Exarch with each hit.3
- The Scorpion's Claw, which combines a Power Fist and Shuriken Catapult.1,3
Phoenix Lord
The Phoenix Lord of the Striking Scorpions is Karandras, the Shadow Hunter. It was not always so. The original founder of the Aspect shrine was Arhra, the Fallen Phoenix who fell to Slaanesh, and it was he who instilled within the aspect their relish of the hunt and murderous nature. When Karandras took upon his predecessors role, he shaped the merciless Striking Scorpions into their more patient but still unquestionably deadly counterparts present today.
