[[Space Marine Captain|Brother-Captain]] '''Indrick Boreale''' of the [[Blood Ravens]] was student of the famed [[Brother-Captain]] [[Gabriel Angelos]] and [[Space Marine Commander|commander]] of 5 companies in the Kaurava Conflict in the game [[Dawn of War|Dawn of War:Soulstorm]]. He was forced to battle fellow [[Imperial]] forces of the [[Sisters of Battle]] and the [[Regiments of the Imperial Guard|252nd Conservator Regiment]] of the [[Imperial Guard]] due to conflicting orders and interest. In battle he favours a tactic known as [[Steel Rain]] which makes extensive use of [[drop pods]] to overwhelm and put pressure on the enemy. Because of this he dosen't make use of static defenses such as turrets.

He starts the campaign with a standard issue [[bolt pistol]] and [[chainsword]] but also has access to the [[master crafted]] [[Power Weapon|power mace]] ''Rogal’s Fist'' and a [[Daemonhammer]]. He is able to upgrade his long range arsenal to either a [[plasma pistol]] or [[meltagun]]. ¹
