Indrick Boreale

Brother-Captain Indrick Boreale of the Blood Ravens was a student of the famed Brother-Captain Gabriel Angelos and Force Commander in the Kaurava Conflict.[1]
History
Boreale was forced to battle fellow Imperial forces of the Sisters of Battle and the 252nd Conservator Regiment of the Imperial Guard due to conflicting orders and interests.[1]
When on the defence he favoured a tactic known as Steel Rain, which made extensive use of drop pods to overwhelm and pressure the enemy. Because of this, he made little use of static defenses such as turrets, preferring to rely on speed and mobility to achieve victory.[1]
Boreale was the captain chosen to lead five Blood Ravens companies, comprising fully half of the chapter, in the Kaurava campaign. The campaign ended in disaster, as Boreale and his forces were wiped out in a crushing blow to the chapter. This defeat left the Blood Ravens drastically low on manpower in the days leading into the First Aurelian Crusade, and is looked upon with shame by many in the chapter.[2][3]
Wargear
Boreale starts the campaign with a standard issue bolt pistol and chainsword but also has access to the master-crafted power mace Rogal's Fist and a Daemonhammer.[1]
He is able to upgrade his long range arsenal to a plasma pistol and to a meltagun. His basic Power armour can also be upgraded to Artificer Armour and have "Errant"-pattern greaves installed on his legs to increase his movement speed and health. He can also receive the prestigious Iron Halo, the Blood Ravens Chapter Banner, and a back mounted teleport device.[1]
