Sargotta
Sargotta was an Imperial Navy Captain, until she betrayed the Imperium and joined the forces of the Red Corsairs Warband.[1]
History
Coming from a venerated noble lineage, while serving in the Imperial Navy she was wounded. While recovering, rivals back home usurped her position. In retaliation, Sargotta organised the handing over of an orbital void docks to pirates and joined the Red Corsairs thereafter. She now commands the battlecruiser Reign of Spite, but despite being surrounded by Chaos Space Marines, Sargotta still freely speaks her mind to the Red Corsairs. She is the leading void tactician of the Red Corsairs and an architect of many of their naval victories.[2]
Though she does not possess the transhuman might of her overlords, Sargotta is far from unaugmented. She possesses extensive neural enhancements which have increased her cognitive power. This allows her to calculate firing solutions and gauge orbital distances instantenously without any need for Cogitators. She also utilizes a servo-platform known as the Mizzenwale Dais. Built by Hereteks, this floating device allows her to effectively command from anywhere within her fleet. On the rare occasion she has to take part in a boarding operation herself, the device can connect to the command network of enemy vessels and slave their systems to her will. For self-defense, she wields a Laspistol and Power Sword.[3]
