Diamantine

A standard bolter round, with a diamantine tip.

Diamantine is a metallic material used by the Imperium of Man to fabricate weapons, ammunition and armour.

Known Uses

Diamantine is used in bolter ammunition. The standard bolt rounds for assault cannons and other projectiles have diamantine tips.^[1]

Armour is sometimes constructed of diamantine, or walls and doors are sometimes lined or made with it, notably in the walls of a Space Marine Fortress-Monastery.^[2]
