Gades
Biography
Gades took part in the assault on Voltis City on Voltemand. During this engagement he served under Sergeant Orcha, alongside Brith and Caffran. Narrowly avoiding being killed by a hidden assault cannon, he took part in the charge lead by Colonel Corbec.
Colonel-Commissar Gaunt and his adjutant Brin Milo came across him later in the tunnels. He had lost his legs to a chainsword and been carried downstream. Gaunt attempted to save his life, but he died before a medic could reach him. He told Gaunt that the Ghosts "would make ghosts tonight." This death shocked Milo, but redoubled Gaunt's determination to take the fight to the enemy.[1]
