Leviathan Fixed Battery
Leviathan Fixed Batteries[1a] are massive[1c] long-ranged artillery guns used by the forces of Chaos, constructed by usage of Adeptus Mechanicus knowledge.[1a]
Description
The artillery guns can be situated in bunker emplacements[1a] and fire three tonne deuterium macro-shells filled with oxo-phosphor gel, aimed by rangefinders,[1b] using cordite and fyceline as propellant.[1c]
Shells can be supplied by bomb trains running on Maglev lines directly from the munitions dumb to the weapons emplacements.[1c] The bomb trains are automated, a single one can consist of sixty open carts, carrying hundreds of tonnes of ordnance.[1d] Arriving at their destination, they are offloaded by cranes and cargo servitors and raised by elevator to the waiting gun magazines[1e]
