Dimensional mirror
A Dimensional mirror is a Necron device used to see a representation of reality as it might have been, had fate taken another course. They have been observed within Necron Pharos complexes.[1]
Overview
Within Necron complexes, dimensional mirrors are sometimes found housed in an aperture five feet high, set in the side of cave with a base at about waist height. Its oval encompassed blackness, so it can initially appear to be a tunnel. Looking into it will show a variant of one's reflection, and those around, of other possible alternate realities. If one looks away from it for a time and then looks back it can show a kaleidoscopic display of variant caves, with multitude of version of the viewer also peering back. If an observer looks away from it for a time and look back again, it might have vanished without a trace, leaving no indication anything had been there prior.[1]
Beings observed in the mirror can give off a psychic presence. It is unclear to Alpha Primus, who has observed such devices before, as to whether this psychic presence of the reflections is simply some kind of complex mirroring of reality or if it is something else.[1]
These dimensional mirrors can appear or disappear within some Necron complexes without warning.[1]
