Welcome to Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum! We hope you will contribute much and well. You will probably want to read the Help section. Again, welcome and have fun! Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 08:15, 14 November 2024 (UTC)

Yme-Loc "ghast" or "ghost" storm

In the 8th edition Craftworlds codex I'm looking at, it has "ghost storm". Does yours say "ghast storm"? Might be different editions or regional changes, I suppose. --Mikaka (talk) 01:42, 22 April 2025 (UTC)

That's wild, I can only imagine why that is the case? Mine absolutely says "ghast-storm"! I'm looking at a US printed edition, so I don't think this was a language correction? A GHOST storm is a way more descriptive term, and if that's what's in your book that's what we should use because I can only assume it's the intended term. --Zap1000x (talk) 02:49, 22 April 2025 (UTC)
Upon close inspection, it's slightly indented and is possibly a mis-strike? I was under the impression codexes were ink-jet printed? Definitely an artefact on my end. --Zap1000x (talk) 02:55, 22 April 2025 (UTC)
Weird! Printing error makes the most sense, I've seen things like that occasionally in codices. --Mikaka (talk) 05:15, 22 April 2025 (UTC)

Merichen

Hello. When you created the article for Merichen, I assume sources 9 and 10 are supposed to be 1 and 2? Also the name is listed as Arach-Cyn? Copy-past errors? KazilDarkeye (talk) 19:46, 6 January 2026 (UTC)

Yes, absolutely copy paste errors! I'm so sorry, and thank you for catching that and all of my other errors. You're a lifesaver! If I may ask, what is your setup like to spellcheck these pages? I do my best to run it through a word processor, but you do so so much better. --Zap1000x (talk) 04:55, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
I don't really know what to tell you - I use a combination of the native spellchecker in my browser (which one depends on if I'm using a PC or mobile) and my own eyes. KazilDarkeye (talk) 21:43, 8 January 2026 (UTC)

Dividing the sources within paragraphs

Hi. Take it not as a reproach, but as a friendly clarification. When we include text inside paragraphs, the link to the source must also be included, with multiple sources divided as I did in the article Pandoraque which you edited earlier. At the same time - this is a common mistake even for the seasoned editors so don't worry too much about it. Still, it is an important point for the accuracy of article source links.--Darkelf77 (talk) 11:17, 30 January 2026 (UTC)

I included the citations how I did because the creature feature article from which the initial citation was written had itself drawn the information from Inquisitor: Conspiracies - Heavenfall, so the second citation which was later in the paragraph (for Havenfall) was intended to cite all that was above it. As the text was an adequate summary of both, I did not see a need to change it for it's new source. This was not a mistake but an intentional change in source, as I would hope a future reader would be inclined to track down the more robust source on the subject. --Zap1000x (talk) 21:49, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
Oh. In this case, yes you was right.--Darkelf77 (talk) 14:56, 31 January 2026 (UTC)
