Codex: Necrons was written by Andy Chambers, Pete Haines, Graham McNeill, Phil Kelly and Andy Hoare and released in 2002. It contains 65 pages, including the entire Necron army list and background information.
The Codex was the sucessor to a number of White dwarf articles the first of which was for the second edition vershion of the rules.
