Cadvan is a Techmarine and veteran pilot of the Deathwatch, originally from the Storm Giants Chapter.^[1a][1b]

In 999.M41, Cadvan was stationed at Picket's Watch under the command of Captain Nergui. He was part of the search party assembled by Nergui to search for two missing Kill-Teams in the Damocles Gulf.^[1b]
