The Storm Giants are a Salamanders Successor Chapter.[9] While this has long been rumoured[2b], it has only recently been proven true.[9]

Overview
They have fought in several of the Imperium's greatest and most pivotal wars, not least among them the Third War for Armageddon. The Storm Giants display high physical strength even for the standards of Space Marines, and there is some debate that their Gene-seed may have mutated to enhance their Biscopea. Several Magos Genetors have made requests to study the Chapter's gene-seed, but they have refused on each occasion.[6]

- 543.M36: Second Lastrati Punitive Campaign - 1st Company took part in this campaign.[3]
- 998.M41: Third War for Armageddon - The Storm Giants deployed 5 companies in the defence of Armageddon.[1]
- ???.M41: Battle on Torquar with the Salamanders[7]
Heraldry
The Storm Giants wear pale yellow armour; their Company colours are not displayed.[6]
The Chapter's symbol is a red lightning bolt striking upward.[1][4]
