The 203rd Cadian Regiment were the nearest Astra Militarum Regiment to Graia with objectives to protect the Titan Manufactorum and its Titans and provide assistance to the planet as Skitarii and Tech-Priests were being overrun by an Ork invasion.[1a][1g][1h] The Cadians fought bravely against the orks but eventually over time they took heavy casualties. The Colonel and his staff were killed and Lt. Mira was the last surviving officer on Graia.[1b][1h][1g][1c]

History

The 203rd Cadian Regiment were outnumbered but they still continued fighting Orks across several sectors. Reinforcements arrived in form of the Ultramarines Second Company lead by Captain Titus. The Ultramarines fought their way through countless Orks until they met surviving squads from the 203rd Cadian. The Guardsmen thanked Titus and Leandros for saving them and informed them about their only surviving officer. Titus and his men regrouped and headed out to the Command Bunker in order to find last surviving officer and to assess the situation on the planet. The Ultramarines fought their way through countless Orks and eventually arrived at the Command Bunker with Lt.Mira giving them intel on the overall status of the war, telling them that the Orks had captured a Defence Gun and were preventing any supply craft from landing or dropping troops and supplies into the planet. Titus decided that he and his brothers would take out the gun so that the Cadians could receive reinforcements.[1b][1c]

After Titus and his men destroyed the gun, Valkyries started dropping off troops and supplies to the planet and the Cadians started setting up a new outpost at Habitation Block Andris, using it as a staging ground and rally point to counterattack against the Orks.[1e]

Scattered troops from the 203rd barely held the line at Manufactorum Ajakis and the Orks relentlessly continued their siege. Hope arrived in the form of Captain Titus and his men just in time to help defend the manufactorum; along the way they managed to destroy a cannon commandeered by the Orks as it was about to fire on the gate. After destroying the cannon, Titus was contacted by Corporal Antioch as he wanted to know who managed to destroy the cannon. Antioch guided Titus and his men to the location of the access point as an alternate route to enter Manufactorum Ajakis. After battling Orks and securing the elevator to the access point, Titus rendezvoused with Antioch and they told them about the additional reinforcements after destroying the defence gun. Titus ordered Antioch to contact Lt. Mira for assistance and continue to hold Ajakis.[1f]

The 203rd Cadian counterattacked and fought orks across several sectors, one group was rescued by Titus and his men as they headed for Bastion Primus and found a Valkyrie to ferry them to the hidden facility. Along the way Titus decided to split from Drogan, Leandros and Sidonus as he carried the power source to divert the Orks' attention from Drogan. Titus used a jump pack and Thunder Hammer to start attacking Ork positions, assisting several Cadian squads who are being overrun by Orks. After Titus rescued them, the Guardsmen directed him to Marsis Plaza; it was overrun with Orks and held the largest force in the sector. After Titus killed multiple Orks and destroyed their territory, he managed to find Bastion Primus and met with Lt. Mira again and she was briefed about ferrying them to the Kalkys Facility.[1d]

The Cadians' Valkyries started to lift off and carried Titus and his men, including Drogan, to Kalkys Facility. They were intercepted by Ork flyers which prompted Titus to protect the Valkyrie fleet via the craft's heavy bolter. The majority of the Valkyries were destroyed during transit to the Kalkys Facility, including Valkyrie Two, which ended with the craft crashing, but Titus managed to survive the crash site and rendezvoused with Lt. Mira's Valkyrie. Mira dropped them all off on the outskirts of the Kalkys facility and returned to Bastion Primus to coordinate with the defence despite losing multiple Valkyries.[1i]

Titus and his men activated the experimental device, accidentally unleashing a Chaos invasion lead by Nemeroth due to being manipulated by a Daemon that had possessed Drogan. After escaping with the power source, Titus and his men headed back to Manufactorum Ajakis and found the Titan Invictus to help destroy the orbital spire and stop Nemeroth. The 203rd Cadian were now fighting a war on two fronts with outposts overrun by either the Orks or The Chosen of Nemeroth. Titus and his men informed Lt. Mira about finding an alternate route to Ajakis and use the Titan to stop the Chaos invasion. After saving Mira's men and destroying Orks and Daemons along the way, they received word from Bastion Primus about the Orks shutting down their Sentry Guns. Titus and his men redirected to Bastion Primus with all haste and saved it from being overrun. Leandros and Sidonus were ordered to stay and help several squads from letting the Orks advance into the bastion while Titus went in alone and activated the defences. He managed to activate the generators again and Sentry Guns killed ork intruders and gave the Cadians breathing room. After Bastion Primus was secured, Titus was guided by Mira and her men to the alternate route to Ajakis and they parted ways.[1m]

Hours later, the liberation fleet had arrived and with it more troops and material were landing on the planet to fight against Nemeroth's Warband. Lt. Mira and the 203rd Cadian were given new orders to help take out the orbital spire to stop the Chaos invasion.[1n]

Titus executed Nemeroth and stopped him from becoming a Daemon Prince, thus saving the planet Graia from falling to Chaos. The 203rd Cadian successfully survived both Orks and Chaos invasions. The fate of Lt. Mira after the invasion is unknown.[1o]
