339th Armageddon Steel Legion

The 339th Armageddon Steel Legion, known as "The Iron Heads" was an Armageddon Steel Legion regiment of the Astra Militarum.[1]
History
The regiment fought in the defence of Hive Tempestora in the Third War for Armageddon. Notably, the "Iron Heads" earned their moniker while fighting in the hive's massive tank forges; they held off attacking Orks even as the forge was producing armoured vehicles. By the conclusion of the battle, the entire surviving regiment had boarded Chimeras literally fresh off the assembly line, which they used in a mechanised assault that drove the xenos from the factory and into the Ash Wastes.[1]
