5th Brotherhood, White Scars Chapter
The 5th Brotherhood of the White Scars, known as the Stormwrath Brotherhood, is one of the Chapter's ten Brotherhoods.[1][2a][2c]
Overview
The Stormwrath Brotherhood is committed to one of the prime tactics of Space Marines: a single, devastating strike that overwhelms the enemy through sheer force. The 5th Brotherhood prefers to fight as a unified body when possible, rarely taking to the field with less than a demi-company. As part of their doctrine, the 5th Brotherhood often makes use of artillery barrages (usually delivered by Whirlwinds) and also regularly deploy Vanguard squadrons. The final major defining point of the Brotherhood's approach to battle is in its bond with the Chapter's Librarius - the Stormseers often make use of the 5th Brotherhood as a test, to measure each Battle-Brother as they ascend from the Reserve Companies to the Battle Companies.[2c]
The Khan of the 5th Brotherhood bears the title Master of Spirits.[2a][2c]
