Abrahoma Bentaal was the governor of the Penal World of Kernak V in the Age of the Dark Imperium.[1]

Biography

When Inquisitor Sahansun proposed the creation of a fortified area of space to protect the wider Imperium from potential spillover from the ongoing Octarius War, Governor Bentaal was one of the Imperial Commanders he contacted. Bentaal readily accepted the inclusion of Kernak V into the defence network.[1]

Sure enough, the orks did end up moving on the Kernak System. An army of greenskins led by the notorious Nabrot Stubfingers quickly rolled over and crushed the defenders of Kernak III and IV. However, they had a much harder time when they attacked Kernak V, as Governor Bentaal (having heard of large scale riots occurring on other Imperial Penal Worlds) had made sure her world had a sizeable and well-equipped garrison of troops.[1]

Despite the successes of the Imperial garrison, Stubfingers' Boyz were eventually reinforced by a fleet led by Stugbrog da Facegrinda. Stugbrog's massed armoured assault overwhelmed Kernak V's defenders and even after the bulk of da Facegrinda's forces left in search of a new scrap elsewhere, the remnants were still too numerous to defeat. Bentaal reluctantly ordered the evacuation of the remaining Imperial troops, which were sent to Kernak II or the worlds of the Suvardosha System, and left Kernak V's prisoners to die. Although it is the Governor's hope that Imperial forces can be consolidated and remarshaled to liberate Kernak V in future.[1]
