Actuality Sphere
The Actuality Sphere is a component of an Imperial spaceship's bridge, showing a 3D replica of the solar system the spaceship is currently operating in.[1]
Description
The Actuality Sphere produces a spherical 3D model of the solar system, highlighting significant locations like celestial objects. It can display objects that are located at least nine AUs away. For example, the Actuality Sphere can show the probable warp emergence point and estimated numbers of detected incoming vessels. Simultaneously, the Sphere projects the 3D models of nearby starships including tactical readouts. If multiple models, both friendly and hostile, overlap, the ones of lesser importance can be filtered out. If further details are necessary, a relevant portion of the projection can be magnified at least tenfold.[1]
On frigates the Actuality Sphere is directly part of the bridge, while on battleships, the Sphere is part of the Strategium, separated from the bridge by an armoured bulkhead made out of adamantium.[1]
