Adelmo
Adelmo was a Veteran Space Marine of the Ultramarines Chapter.[1]
Biography
At one point Adelmo was chosen to undertake a tour of service with the Deathwatch. He later returned to his Chapter following the completion of this duty.[1]
Some time after this, he was part of a Sternguard Veteran squadron led by Sergeant Tatianus. The squad was assigned to support a Third Company task force led by Chaplain Cassius in the liberation of the Imperial city of Skemarchus, which had been invaded by orks.[1]
At some point during the battle to take Skemarchus's port facilities, the orks deployed a Gargant to attack the Imperials. Adelmo was killed in one of the Gargant's cannon barrages. Donatus, Adelmo's squadmate, later destroyed the Gargant by setting off a chain reaction that destroyed the manufactorium it was in and caused the war machine to plunge into the lava beneath the city. Unfortunately, many of the dead Ultramarines' bodies fell into the lava as well, with Adelmo's believed to be among them.[1]
