Alaric Nightrunner
Alaric Nightrunner was a Wolf Lord of the Silent Howlers Great Company of the Space Wolves as of the time of the 30th Great Hunt.[1]
History
During the 30th Great Hunt, the Great Companies of the Space Wolves each set out on a quest to achieve great deeds. Alaric went to the Ghoul Stars with his company, accompanied by Njal Stormcaller. There they encountered a great Tyranid hive ship that pursued them, looking to devour their ship Canis Pax. After rebuffing multiple boarding attempts by the Tyranid organisms, Alaric opted to launch a cyclonic torpedo at the hive ship while Njal Stormcaller shrouded it in a illusion, making it look like a Stormwolf gunship with Alaric himself perched on top holding his spear in challenge. The hive ship then swallowed the torpedo whole and the ensuing detonation disoriented the ship and allowed the Space Wolves to kill it and bring its gigantic jawbone back to The Fang as a trophy.[1]
