Alectia is a Shrine Moon of the Imperium. It is the site of a mission of Adepta Sororitas of the Order of Our Martyred Lady charged with guarding a collection of holy relics.[1]
Located at the edge of the Pariah Nexus, Alectia was among the Imperial worlds that were attacked by the Necrons during the War in the Pariah Nexus. Despite the fierce resistance of the Sororitas, the xenos killed almost every inhabitant of Alectia. However, the Sisters were able to hold the Necrons off until the few survivors were relieved by Indomitus Crusade Battle Group Kallides.[1]
