Altaric was the senior Farseer of the Seer Council of Biel-Tan in late M41 at the time of the Battle of Duriel.[1]
An aggressive and militant figure, Altariec leads a following of like-minded Eldar that wish to launch a campaign to reclaim the Maiden Worlds from various interlopers, most of all Humanity. He is resentful of other Craftworlds such as Iyanden which did not support them in such endeavours, and was against aiding Iyanden against the Tyranids in at Duriel. However he was overruled by the majority of Biel-Tan's Seer Council.[1a] However in the final stages of the battle, he led Biel-Tan reinforcements to aid Iyanden.[1b]
