Amalia Novena is a Sister Superior of the Order of Our Martyred Lady.^[2]

This artwork from Karl Kopinski made its first appearance in black and white, in the 2003' Witch Hunters' Codex^[3] as an anonymous Order of Our Martyred Lady battle sister^[2] but was also released as a poster for Sister Severine around that same time.^[6]

It was later featured, in full color, on the cover of White Dwarf 293 (UK) (May 2004), and the 2006 novel' cover Faith and Fire^[4].

The character design was re-released in 2019 as Amalia Novena, along with a commemorative miniature^[1], followed by the refreshed sisters of Battle miniature range.^[5]
