Ammar
Ammar is a Chaos Lord in the Death Guard Traitor Legion's First Plague Company.[1]
History
However he is a recent convert to the Death Guard and as a result, Ammar has a bit more confidence and swagger than your average dour follower of Nurgle. The Chaos Lord is also eager for power and this has led him to become a toller for the First Plague Company's Bell of Breaking relic. Ammar has held this position for a century and has now rung the relic for fourteen of the Plague Company's campaigns. This has greatly aided the Chaos Lord's rise within the First Plague Company, despite the fact that he is not a native member of the Death Guard. However should he ever fail to break the Bell on its seventh ringing, then tradition dictates he must be used as an ingredient in its reforging.[1]
Trivia
Ammar and the Bell of Breaking were created by the Games Workshop employee Rhuairidh James for the White Dwarf magazine's 2023-2024 A Tale of Four Warlords competition.[1]
