Antar is an Imperial Forest World, whose population is steeped in myth and folk lore.[1a]
This has made the Antari deeply superstitious and fearful of Psykers[1a], which has led them to mark their bodies with tattoos of myths, stories, warding sigils and words of prayer.[1b] Antar raises Astra Militarum Regiments for the Imperium[1a] and it also contains a Schola Progenium, whose Tempestus Scions are sometimes sent in squadrons to fight beside the world's Regiments.[1c]
