Antioth is a planet associated with the Imperium known for its vast libraries.[1a]
History
Antioth was established as the birth world for Sister Elena's Adepta Sororitas order.[1b] The world became known for its large, tall libraries.[1a]
At some point, at least one of the libraries was subjected to chaos corruption. The Prefect pledged himself to the chaos god Tzeentch. Some time later, when counting books without reading them, Adept Neath noticed books vanishing while extras mysteriously appeared on shelves. He investigated further alongside Adept Boll, but Boll went missing. Attempting to find Boll, Neath was dragged by Peers to the Prefect for talking in meal time. The Prefect denied that there ever was an Adept Boll, leading to Neath returning alone and opening the forbidden book, causing Neath's soul to be bound to the book. Books bound to Adepts' souls were then given to priests of the Ecclesiarchy causing sermons to the populace on the world to be twisted into Chaos praise.[1a]
