Aog is a port moon of the Imperium. It is known mostly from the notes of Chief Chirurgeon Magir Linschoten, who arrived in 544.M41. The largest mercy house is called Alburae.[1]
The moon's religious needs were seen to by the priestly class known as Qaidyas, whose members, according to Dr. Linschoten, had been marred by inbreeding, blindness, unquestioning obedience to ancient texts and a failure to innovate, but were respected by the populace and grew arrogant in their position. They were led by Uzao, a Nurgle worshiper.[1]
When an unstoppable plague bore on the wind itself hit the moon, Dr. Linschoten could not find a cure. In desperation, he turned to Uzao, who opened the Doctor's eyes to the supernatural. The Doctor traveled the moon, spreading diseases under the guise of cures, until he died in unknown circumstances. Interrogator Jorgan Malpire followed his trail and wrote a report on the matter.[1]
