Apollo (Captain)

Apollo was the Captain of the Blood Angels' 48th Company during the Horus Heresy, and he took part in the Siege of Terra.[1a]
In the last days of the Siege, Apollo would be among the Imperial forces that defended the inner Imperial Palace's Delphic Battlement.[1a] This led directly to the Emperor's domain within the Sanctum Imperialis, however, and when the Battlement fell to Horus' hordes, the Sanctum's Eternity Gate was ordered closed. It is not clear, though, if Apollo was killed defending the Battlement or if he was among the Imperial forces that managed to enter the Sanctum, before the Gate was sealed.[1b]
