Arachnotek Golem
The Arachnotek Golem is a Van Saar technological monstrosity conceived by the Archeotek Sater Davos, originally created to help the Van Saar cheat death.[1a]
Before perfecting their environment suits, Davos experimented with full cybernetic bodies to replace the failing flesh of his people. Dying Van Saar Archeoteks were brought to the Golem, where their engrams were transferred to the machine in hopes of preserving their minds. However, the engramic coding would eventually fade, requiring a continuous supply of new minds.[1a]
Despite this flaw, the Golem became a tool of revenge within the clan. Over the centuries, it has been upgraded into a war machine, towering over others with a spider-like body and equipped with powerful weaponry. Van Saar gangs sometimes offer one of their own to the Golem, allowing it to absorb their engramic spirit temporarily, though this process can leave the donor mentally impaired.[1a]
